Our chiropractors have years of experience working with children of every age and stage of life, and have received advanced certifications and training in caring for children. Dr. Ackerman has earned the Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics from the Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics of the International Chiropractors Association. Dr. Pawola has a certification in pediatrics through International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
One of the greatest privileges we have as chiropractors is to work with pregnant moms, and then welcome their babies into the practice after their birth. We love seeing the circle of life, and continuing care for generations of families while helping them to experience natural wellness.

Helping Children Grow Big and Strong
In the same way adjustments are designed to remove nervous system interference for adults, care is meant to do the same for our littlest patients. Birth is one of the most traumatic events that we experience. Some infants experience twisting and pulling, which can wreak havoc on their tiny spines.
We believe that correcting spinal misalignments when children are young is far better than letting them age with issues that can turn into long term problems. If the trauma of every bump and tumble could be addressed when your child is young, imagine how healthy and happy they’ll be as they grow?
Gentle Adjustments
We adjust children using the gentlest possible touch. In fact, it’s no more pressure than you’d use to check the ripeness of a tomato at the grocery store. Our practice is inviting to children, and we make adjustments fun! If your little one is nervous, we have plenty of toys around to help keep them entertained-sometimes, we even turn adjustments into a game.
